Denbigh High School is an outstanding school with approximately 1120 students between the ages of 11 and 16 and we became an academy in 2010 as a result of our status as an outstanding school.
We are also a highly successful school that has a decade-long record of year-on-year achievement at GCSE, during which time the proportion of students gaining 5 or more, good GCSEs has more than quadrupled.
Our focus on success and achievement is uncompromising. We have a curriculum which is broad and challenging and our contextual value-added score for progress from key stages 2 to 4 is one of the highest in the country.
